The arc is shit,the edgy villain is shit, and the MC is shit. I don't even know why I would want to root for the MC at this point, he kinda deserves getting a bad ending since he's not doing ANYTHING at all.
And yes the girls are bad too. What are they even doing here? As another poster said, they joined the school because Washio was there, so why did they not go with him?

because they are passive af, just look as some soft criticism makes other people try to make him feel bad for not liking the arc.

Man, the only one who needs a redemption arc is the author, he needs to man up and decide to do something with his story, no romance,no comedy and the mystery is not interesting either.

Bruh wtf is this trash? The author is not cooking anything at all. Sheesh, I hate how the Japanese depict their main characters. We have a soy mc who can't make up his mind because he's too depressed about prior events and doesn't take any action on his students who have feelings for him. Make up your mind it's that simple. All of this is to liberate MC from the burden of taking care of his monster girl students? This is why you communicate folks, not beat the bush around for 20 chapters.
