more reasons to go back and murder the royals in that capital, I guess.

Thanks for continuing with this series.
We really like this series! We have notifications set up so we know ASAP once raws release.

Sadly, this series releases extremely slowly. It releases ~1/3 or 1/2 of a chapter per month, some months they don't even release that. So it takes on average 2-4 months per complete chapter. We would release the monthly chapter fragments, but they are often exactly that... Fragments. They don't end and restart anywhere logical, so we wait for the ENTIRE chapter to release before we upload.

That greeting could literally wreck someone else's house...

But thankfully the cliffhanger protected it from any property damage.

As much as I like this series, hearing this kinda makes me wish the publisher would go completely bankrupt and the CEO who made the decision to release chapters at such a pace gets the Little Nicky treatment, even if means we never get another chapter of this.

EDIT: Didn't realize it was the author's choice this time; thank you for informing me, @tseng. I'm just so used to the publisher being responsible for this that it didn't occur to me. Now that I know the reasoning, though, I'm a-okay with this getting an update only a couple times a year, because the author's health is more important.

As much as is the publisher at fault sometimes, this time is on the mangaka, ever since this serie returned from that long hiatus some years ago due to her undergoing cancer treatment and later having surgery (diagnosed with endometrial cancer iirc), that this serie slowed down alot more than what comic-gardo usually release at, and that is fully her choice to slow down

With the anime already being past it..
Least it's nice to see there are still differences between the mediums to keep me interested. Dunno which take is closer to the lightnovel though.

I usually don't value my entertainment over someone's life & wellbeing, so I hope she continues to take it easy & release it at her own pace.

I was all excited for a new chapter, until I realized that all this chapter did was catch up to last week's anime episode.

Knowing the author's a cancer survivor puts it all into context. Not like she needed justification in the first place, of course, but.

I'm glad she's able to keep the series going at all, then. Health comes first, always.

Iirc in the official releases, the manga artist put a note saying that chapters will be released at their own pace on account of the cancer issue (which makes sense).

Some friend, who the heck attacks someone out of nowhere unprovoked, and says long time no see? The "friend" has a few screws lose if you catch my drift.

This is just the manga artist being silly with the content. In the novels (and anime) the friend just comes in the room and greets him normally.
