Why IS the art direction for the anime so freaking good? I know the most obvious answer is "Studio Sunrise lol" but why is Sunrise wasting their time with a mediocre isekai? I like what little I've seen of "Not Deedlit and Pirotess" so far, but the rest of the framing of the story is just completely forgettable.

there's an event in Vol 3 which effectively serves as a "together forever" vow for Akira and Amelia where he cuts ring shaped marks into each other's fingers, but otherwise that's been about it. I don't think there's been kissing or other intimate stuff, since everything afterwards has been very plot focused on getting to the demon lands.

This is pretty similar to arifureta, but the MC is pretty cowardly despite his cold character.
He keeps on letting the enemies slipped away.

I watched the anime..
Man..it’s too much flashbacks, romcom and too much drama just to kill one person. The heroine is annoying.
Even those kids from assassination classroom are far better than this MC and they don’t even have any magical abilities.

Saying it’s pretty similar to arifureta is pretty rude of me, hell saying this is a mid is an overstatement too.

I read the manga and the Elf arc is a complete disaster. Maybe someone who has read the LN/WN can answer my questions.

Will this princess face any consequences later in the story because what she did is unforgivable out of her own whim and jealousy she brainwashed everyone in the kingdom and the arc ends with "forgiveness" and sisters hugging?

Now the question about Liam and Amelie: did they even "love" each other, or did the king just decide on their engagement and they didn’t even want it, because Amelie doesn’t even seem interested that she lost her fiancé (literally right after “handling” the matter in the elf village she declares that she wants to be and travel with the MC), and Liam wasn’t even bothered that he was deceived (literally he disappeared). Are there any information about this in the source material?

And also, what was the point of Liam at all? He literally appeared in chapter 1 and we never see him again, the guy just vanished into thin air.

I heard that both the WN and LN were abandoned/suspended, is that true?

To finish, I hoped for a pleasant story but it turned out to be simply weak, and I thank anyone who answers in advance.

While not covered in the manga, which is a poor choice imo, the knight captain told him to refrain from it since he understood that the MC came from a different world and he wanted the MC to be able to go back over with a clean conscious if they are able to go back. Weak reason I know, but there is at least something there.
