Both Ayacha and the aunt/relative person this chapter have me thinking the ground work's being laid to eventually rehabilitate Rua's image.
Not sure if that's actually the case, or if this is people around her having tons of patience and giving her the benefit of the doubt--until she proves all efforts and good-will are futile and she's ultimately brought low.
But...even with the crazy powerleveling battle manga subtheme to this, I don't know if it's also the sort of title that'll actually commit to "the antagonist fully losing", and instead she'll ultimately be redeemed by the infinite patience and virtuous actions of the various heroines (since the ML's written her off entirely, at this point at least).

Guess we'll see.
Bruh, she tried to have her killed. Bruh.

She's unsalvageable.

Bitch, then she can tell everyone you just tried to kill her yesterday. I have no doubt Kazuma would support Hiiragi.

She just attempted to murder you yesterday, what are you talking about girl.

Rua wants to try killing her AGAIN by trying to borrow the bodyguard again.

I actually don't understand why some people still want to redeem Rua after this. All I'm asking from you is... HOW does one redeem someone like this?

Ho? Are we going to see some character development from this brat?
Yeah, and I'll strike oil in my backyard.

And?

Antagonists of all manner of manga series have actually killed people and then were redeemed.

I'm not saying that it was always well-received by readers/audiences in those instances, and I'm not saying that would necessarily be the case here, were Rua to get the same treatment from the author.

I'm saying I could see a future wherein the author writes out a redemption arc for Rua. Perhaps, it could even be done well where it makes sense. It's not a certainty, of course, but I'm not certain this series has the feel of a title where any of the primary cast will be left behind, as it were.

It's Japan, so that already makes it highly probable. Add on that Ayacha is trying to help her, and that battle-aunt has suggested it, and it's 100% certain. But it probably won't happen until the end of the manga.

inb4 this series main heroine is actually Rua, and the whole series is a journey to develop her character until MC can finally see her.

I think I've said it on a previous comment before. If we want Rua to be properly redeemed we must first kill her enablers, the grandfather and mother.

Props to Ayacha for deciding to be honest.

Every chapter Rua just gets crazier and crazier.

I actually like that Rua is redeemable. But damn they really messed up raising her.
I dunno. Redeemable characters usually have a setup or a really good reason to justify their current actions be redeemed later. Common examples include but not limited to: revenge due to being wronged in the past, need to protect family/close associates, just really mistaken in their worldview, etc.

Rua seems to land on the third reason, because we're shown behind the curtains that she's doing all of this because she loves the MC, but to the public she is a really, really, REALLY TERRIBLE person. "Raised wrong" is just not enough of an excuse when she has attempted to ruin at least two other people's lives, and outright attempted murder to one of them.

I hope it’s groundwork
