Idk man I hate the childhood friend no matter if she was being a victim of Tsundere's trope. Rejecting him is a different matter, but calling him to Karaoke and then humiliating him in front of other people is just a huge red flag and instant HATE.

I don't wish to see her ending up with MC for MC's sake. She is worse than that childhood friend from the manga where the MC is a famous author or something.

Much like in other mangas with the same premise that just circle back into BS, I don't have high hopes.

You see it on manga all the time, MC gets bullied into submission, smacked, punched, gaslighted, lied, tricked, etc etc into liking the outright dogwater FMC over literally anyone else (Example: Nisekoi, where literally everyone was better than Chitoge, but since the author didn't know how write a good story with good developement, the obvious winner won, specially making emphasis on how Onodera was happy to be c*cked even baking their wedding cake(????) so... no)​

It's a harem manga at that with an MC who's dead inside, so it reminds of "the girls who traumatized me" and you guys know how horseshite that one is.

Again, good setting but much like every shonnen manga, it's easy to have a good recipe and fumble the cooking.
