Well, based purely off the first chapter, the MC isn't anything stand out; in terms of MC's in this scenario, obviously he's the second coming of whatever in-universe.

Let's be honest, the primary hook of any of these stories is seeing how severe the comeuppance is for the brat when it finally comes.

Though this is an overused plot, I like the fact not everyone immediately believes the childhood friend did no wrong. Our MCs mentor saw right through her bullshit immediately. Only the grandfather is still willing to help since she's his granddaughter. With this mentor it puts in a key factor that most stories like this lack. I could change the story completely and maybe have an actual true believable redemption for the girl.
