Maaaaan I hope this story doesn't end up like the others where the MC ends up forgiving his childhood friend. I'm concerned because this story has a harem tag. This b*tch had her chance and blew it. I'm so tired of these spinless cowards forgiving their abusers after a simple fake apology.

The only abuse given to is the childhood friends which keep getting dumped on every anime in existence

Reminds me of that other manga where the MC breaks up with his abusive girlfriend. This one seems to be adding a level of conspiracy to the proceedings to change things up. I think we’re still in the “premise” phase on the “abused boy breaks up with girl” concept. Interesting to see how many more we get before this shifts to “trope” and then full-on “genre.”

The manga/ novel is from 4 years ago, the other in this genre are from 3 years ago too. The genre came and died long ago and for good too. This genre is incel and toxic like, anime needs to be about love and happiness not this cheap incel girlhate fantasy

Though this is an overused plot, I like the fact not everyone believes the childhood friend did no wrong. Our MCs mentor saw right through her bullshit. Only the grandfather is still willing to help since she's his granddaughter. With this mentor it puts in a key factor that most stories like this lack. It could change the story completely and maybe have an actual true believable redemption for the girl. Hopefully his mentor will be on his side considering she's the one who really knows him. Though that could be tough for her since she's under the employment the ex-childhood friends grandfather.

I like stories where bad people learn to be better, but man, this story's going to need to pull out some top-class writing to believably turn this girl around.

She's cartoonishly dumb and her grandfather let's her do anything, the moment the protagonist directly tell her that he hates her guts she'll understand and devolve into a pud of tears and he'll eventually forgive her: she's on the cover for God's sake, she's getting forgiven 100%.

absolute shit. The first half is ok, I mean it's funny and cool to see the pig squealing and the new heroines but after some chapters, the novel changes theme and starts to be a action novel, with battles and schemes and no fucking romance. The last chapters that I read was about a secret genius club that only the top of the top could participate, and our mc was invited to it. There, the MC had to fight a random kendo master with a wood sword to be acknowledged. He wins in the first strike and breaks the iron sword of the kendo master in two... THEN AFTER, IF NOT ENOUGH, ANOTHER SCHOOL STARTS A TERRORIST ATTACK ON HIS SCHOOL AND HE NEEDS TO SOLVE IT.

What I'm trying to say is if you wants a chill "revenge" story where the MC just lives normally and fall in love and etc etc, this one is not for you. The novel is being translated again until the end of the first volume, the translator said that if it pull some numbers, he might translate more. If you enjoy, go give some love to the translator, but I'm not watching this ship sink LOL
