in the end, Aoi's strength is only his vision... low physicality & height, low technique, low passing/crossing low, average shooting, average speed

tbh in order to be world class player, having a world class stat in one thing but lacking a lot of other things will not get him to the top of the world.

a lot of development potential for the mangaka, if he can manage the "power level" of the allies & adversaries. (Tripone already look like Zlatan level here, which does not make sense).

@onepunchman I mean this arc introduced the 5 lanes concept (albeit really late for something that Fukuda emphasizes for his team A players and Aoi in the future) and Aoi's first actual loss or step back from his development, so it wasn't that bad

Aoi wasn't that bad in this game. Even Akutsu himself acknowledged it in his own way.
He's just immature, targeted by the opponent, and was overwhelmed by a monster like Tripone. That was too much for him.
And actually, if he hadn't made this foul, it would've probably been a goal anyway.

What I would like to know is what Kuribayashi think of Aoi's game. Cause he gave some hints of disappointment, as someone who's always expecting the best.
