Hmm. I have a feeling that they will in fact…go together. It’s best case scenario; hope they work this out right away.

... Even without the idea that she could go with him, why is it so hard to understand that he would be more regretful of leaving her behind and worried than missing the exhibit?
I figure it's probably a japanese culture thing but you see this in a ton of mangas, like it's impossible to even consider that love/social relations is more important to someone than work.
I get that here it's work that he's passionate about but even then he made the decision himself that her well being is more important to him than that exhibit. But no, she can't comprehend that so she's gonna do something drastic to make him go but everything will work out cause manga logic.
It's been the same trope for years now, would be nice to see a character respecting their partner's decision of what they think is more important to them for a change.
yeah that happens usually but in this case isn't this also related to his lost friend. I think this exhibit and finishing stuff in Finland also has a social/friendship aspect to him rather than just work. I still think he wouldn't regret being with her instead tho

Welcome back and, like always, thank you for your work!

I think I'm more frustrated about them not considering going together than them not going together. Not sure if the author is saving the discussion of this option for later or if Aoko travelling seems so impossible to them than it doesn't even cross their mind to analyse the possibility. They could also be just too emotional to think beyond black and white options, but ugh, I wish they would at least talk about it. Participating without going to Finland was a nice ideia, but it seems it won't work.

I hope they will talk more about it. As it is now, no matter if he goes or stays, someone will feel bad about it.

Phew. Well, first things first, I'm glad that it wasn't simply left at him deciding to stay. Decisions like this actually influence both the work and the relationship, as we see in this chapter.
Secondly, it's good to see that Aoko doesn't actually support him dropping such an opportunity, despite all her anxieties about him going.
The tricky place, though, is where Tatsuki is at right now in all this. You know, when you technically have no obstacles preventing you from doing the thing, but you just know that it will worry and possibly hurt another person, even though they still sincerely want you to do the thing? It's a very suffocating situation to be in. You feel like you lose either way, but at least in one way it won't affect your loved one.
...Except a person who loves you wouldn't want you to hold back and pass on important opportunities.
So, a tough moment right there! And realistic, I sure have went through similar things in my life. So I can relate.

I know everyone in the comments is annoyed at them not coming up with a simple solution of going together. But it only sounds simple on the surface, and even though it wasn't established yet if this option is possible in the story or why not if not, I think we'll get to that in the future chapters.

Thanks for the translation!

Yay we’re back!
This chapter was a tug of war of tension and relief. people say to go with him, but isn’t the cup production happening during that time too?

The problem here is that when he say she won't trust him, no matter what he says, he's actually right. She doesn't. And the only way for her to trust him is for him to actually go to Finland and then come back. The tricky part is that it cannot be his choice, otherwise she would either resent him for leaving, or herself for chaining him down.
The ONLY way through requires her to recognize the issue, understand she MUST undergo the pain of temporary separation for the healing process to begin, and explain all of this to him.
Anything else would be just sweeping the problem under the rug, and ultimately making things worse in the long run.
