I'm giving it a 1 cause its all pointless, I don't care why the axe happened but heres the thing. To read this is a waste of time, nothing is resolved, we don't get most of the characterisations, we don't get any closures. So why read this when you can just read the LN? I've only given 2 series a 1 and both times was when it was axed like this and made the series pointless to read, a full waste of time.

Also in my country 5 volume purchases would be $100 so this isn't small potato money if I was getting these. When I like a series I get the volumes here when I can. I'd never pay $120 for 6 volumes of a nothing burger.

It being pointless is pretty subjective. We clearly get characterization for 3 out of our 4 party members. The closure you're looking for is pretty obviously the companionship that all 4 of them are building up that manifests through the sword literally called "bond." The only thing left would be to deal with the plot of the secret weapons. What does the price matter when you're on a free site anyway. You'd read this over the light novels because you want to see the art, if you like the story enough you got read the LN, that's how it works.

I'd say the absolute plethora of comments in here say otherwise, Also starting a characterisation for most of the party and none of them being finished is worthless. Sure art is something but I said cost cause lets say I enjoyed it here and it was available officially I'd get it cause the series was pretty good. Now imagine I get the 5 volumes and suddenly on here I find out not even out of prologue the 6th is final.... what a waste of money.

And yes I've bought series before that ended in a waste of money so it's a very valid concern (Damn you Gurren Laggan manga for being canned so much cost )
