would be more towards manhuahuahuahuakinda all over the place.
To play the devils advocate, I think it's commonly accepted what kind of "trash" we are talking about:See what I quoted there? Those are the only relevant arguments in your critique of this work.
The rest is just your totally irrelevant, copied and pasted, hateful, idiotic, disgusting and uneducated opinion about Chinese manhua and culture.
Can't you guys learn how to argue your points without leaking your disguisting and simplistic internal thoughts? Always comparing what you're reading with 'the usual chinese trash', when it's usually bad not because it's Chinese but because the author is bad.
Some Japanese authors and Koreans are also bad, but do you complain about trash Korean manhwa or Japanese manga?
Now tell me how this story is bad precisely because it's Chinese.
That's what your two first sentences are saying, now defend your point! Or just admit you were wrong for having said that. Admit that it's wrong and very disrespectful to label everything and anything a "trash Chinese manhua". 😠
Yes, both genres can be found in either manga/manhua/manhwa, point is,This can also be found in manhua, regularly so.
This is also a common plot in manhua, I've actually read more than one like this this week: example one, example two.
So there's no trash "japanese" or "korean" or "chinese" manga. There are trashy plots.
But going by: "most manhua(or manga or manhwa, you got it, here it's just manhua that he used) are trash" is not okay, rather than saying "this type of trope is trash". Example:
Saying "brain empty action and plot sequences" is a not a native characteristic of manhua plots, but all around the world, it's a general plot characteristic.
Criticizing manhua as a whole because this person read two or three manhua that were bad, it is being an idiot and being uneducated.
Proof here too, in the same sentence: "the Chinese are know[n] for".
What an argument! Just because other people badmouth manhua, it becomes justified for you to do the same, without checking if this reputation is justified and true? Disregarding the good literature by taking a small number of examples to trash Chinese manhua and culture around is despicable.
In my previous comment, I urged the person to defend his point. You did it in his place, and that's alright.
I believed you'd be defending the indefensible, so I wasn't worried about your answer.![]()
We wouldn't know really, at least until they respond. In any case it isn't really that serious. Who cares what some rando types on internet. This clearly sounds like he agrees that most manhua are bad, this one's just better than the norm as he says. Or it's just slightly better Chinese junk food. Or slightly better than the usual trash.
That doesn't sound very flattering for manhua and Chinese culture in general.
If he didn't mean to trash Chinese culture around, he wouldn't have said that.
Repeating his point in three sentences, in three different ways, it then doesn't seem like it could just be a language barrier problem. Definitely not.
