i almost forgot the plot, can someone explain a refresher, spoilers are allowed in this comment section.

@Confused. At the end of S1 MC’s best friend used her power to save Mc and died in the process. The drawback of bf power was that it consumes her life span, so she already only had weeks to live before the end of s1. (In detail the reason the bf was dying so soon is because the government forced her to over use her powers for years experimenting on her and other kids who had powers. MC’s powers were hidden by his sister so he was not experimented on.)

During the climax of S1 MC used his powers in a big way to beat the guy trying to kill him. But the drawback for MC’s power is that he loses his memory. The more intensive the use the more memory he loses. At the end of S1 he could only barely remember fmc and wanting to go to the beach. (Mc fmc and bf had all planned to go to the beach together after their next exam.)
