The wonderful april fools imagery aside, I honestly kind of hate the protagonist. She's as bad as the sister she wants revenge on so badly. I get that she feels driven by her hatred after the way things went in the "past" but her willingness to use and abuse any and all poor souls unfortunate enough to fall within her purview makes me wish for her revenge to fail. She looks at everyone as either literal garbage or a pawn, even her own mother. If that's not as bad or worse than her sister, I'd be surprised.

Alas, yes, she's black bellied, but still didn't hurt anyone, let's wait and see if her facade of loving is going to became somewhat true or not in the mean time.
If she's still calculating, but holds ethics and use that two faced personality for a greater good, it would be a good redemption scene for her.
I mean, she did help the store owner, and did help the newspaper boy, so I'm guessing she's not chaotic, just neutral/chaotic.
And it's somewhat refreshing to see a new type of FL that's not dumb good too shoes, or with a "I'm the harbringes of all that's good'".
This is like, the first VILLAINESS that thinks TRULLY as one!
I'm amused just thinking how the author is going to make her mature!
Is she going to go all the way to chaotic? Or is she going to become a bit more gentle and caring.

Besides, there were, and STILL ARE a lot o ML that are just as cold hearted manipulating bastards, and everyone thinks they are Majestic, i wonder why the same standard applied for a FL is viewd as if she's a bitch and nothing more.
Let's give her time, in case her actions chance or not.
