There is technically nothing wrong with his rationality on the matter but what it comes down to when regarding sex is more so psyshical closeness and attraction. This can be achieved without sex but the general idea is that our leading lady wants something that validates their love in more psyshical form and denying that will cause a sense of not feeling attractive enough or that the love isn’t much past the surface level. It’s a main reason why divorces tend to happen outside of affairs mind you but sometimes some affairs are attributes from this sense of lack of psyshical love. Overall he is right about timing but he can still at least kiss her, hug her, rub her head, something to make her feel that their love isn’t superficial.
i would like to but i feel it's kinda disrespecful to take a work from someone that is already working on it, and after sending an email they had some unforeseen so i'd like to believe the wait wasn't their fault at all. Thanks for the chapters, and I can totally see why you're fine with stepping down. Though I do have a proposal for you that you can take to the other group and see what they have to say on it. Why don't you continue working on this WITH them. Maybe remove your chapters when they upload theirs so there isn't any risk of overlap, and when they are caught up to where you are, just either bow out and let them handle it, or work with them and coordinate to release chapters when they have issues that prevent them from working on it?
