Thanks for the chapters, and I can totally see why you're fine with stepping down. Though I do have a proposal for you that you can take to the other group and see what they have to say on it. Why don't you continue working on this WITH them. Maybe remove your chapters when they upload theirs so there isn't any risk of overlap, and when they are caught up to where you are, just either bow out and let them handle it, or work with them and coordinate to release chapters when they have issues that prevent them from working on it?

The worst they can say is no, especially if you don't go out of your way to work on more chapters before hearing back from them.
thanks for the suggestions! I'll send them an email and we'll see how this works. They told me they're already working on the chap 50 so maybe i can work on the 51, we'll see

This chapter once again brushes up on some type of trauma or incident Tsubaki faced in the past. I'm glad that the story is mostly focusing on her just being a horny teenager but I think it should talk about what happened for both of them to move forward because even Tadashi knows something about it and it does color the way he treats her.
We already know that she was sexually harassed so much by so many men, she became a misandrist. That was the main driving force of the first couple arcs in this story (which have been nuked so it won't be easy to review them).
She also did mention that some of those instances of harassment were very dangerous close calls to assault to him. Also a main driving point of the previous stage in their relationship.
So while we don't know the exact details of what happened to her. We know just enough to understand her actions and why she feels the way she does right. There fore I don't think we'll be seeing some flashbacks if and when they communicate about this whole ordeal.

On one hand I do understand how he thinks.
On top of him being ultra puritan, when you're young and haven't had much exposure to sexual topics, you believe that seeing the person you like in a sexual light is wrong.
I only really understood myself that sexual desire is something completely natural that comes with love when I was around 18 years old.

The only reason I bring it up is because there seems to be an specific incident that triggered this. I don't' need to see it but the two have entered the part of their relationship of dealing with sexual desires from their partner, than just dealing with their own. So Tsubaki being the one who clearly has a problem stemming form a previous interaction needs to talk about it more. This isn't about understanding Tusbaki, this is about the two progressing and understating how their relationship will move forward. She knows Tadashi is different, but she doesn't know how she's different as well.

In chapter 1, Tsubaki wanted Tadashi to ravish her and tried everything she could to make him do it. And she's never really stopped trying ever since. Her eternal, defining mistake is that she always thought if she could turn him on enough, he'd eventually lose control. That simply was never going to happen. The harder she tries to make it happen that way, the harder she's going to fail.

And that's actually a good thing. No, no, hear me out for just a moment. I'm not saying they shouldn't fuck. I actually tend to be entirely in favor of fictional characters doing the nasty in just about any constellation imaginable. It's just that Tsubaki can't be allowed to succeed in this specific way, given her backstory of experiencing sexual assault, and Tadashi being aware of it. Tadashi is fully committed to proving to her that men aren't animals -- that they're rational beings fully in control of their own actions, no matter how aroused, and therefore, men who commit sexual assault are, in fact, the scum of the Earth. And even if he's overthinking things, I can't say he doesn't have a point there.

Of course, now that Tsubaki seems to have finally accepted she's never going to get anywhere, it turns out her efforts will pay off in the end. She's gotten close enough to Tadashi that he can tell when she's putting on a brave face, and perhaps even connect the dots that if you reject your girlfriend's sexual advances once too often, she's going to lose heart just a little that she's ever going to get ravished.

I will give this time to cook, but he did a terrible job at turning her down in a way that wouldn't hurt or discourage her. Tadashi is so far up his ass about his principles that he came this close to shaming her for her natural desires and impulses. Well, figuring this sort of messy stuff out is what adolescence is all about, and what makes coming-of-age stories timeless.

Please keep translating. Other team works so slow. All these years and they're not even halfway through the raws!

Like seriously, they took 6 years to do Saotome Shimai Wa Manga no Tame Nara!?. That manga only ran for 3 years and they started translating the same year it started.

So I wanna put this out there to everyone that's saying Tsubaki deserves better than Tadashi. He DOES have a bit of a point in why he doesn't want to do too much physical intimacy. They are still teens, they haven't been dating for too long in the grand scheme of things, and at the very least in this chapter, they were drunk and not fully in their right minds. Is he being a little TOO prudish? Yeah, definitely, but that doesn't mean he's not right in wanting to wait.

By the same logic, he could definitely stand to be a little more intimate with her. She is CLEARLY sexually frustrated, and his stance on absolutely ZERO physical intimacy is definitely not helping with that. It wouldn't break public morals to hold hands or kiss in private. If he wants to set a limit to how much physicality they have, then he can do that, but hard banning it is way too much.

To be fair, she DOES come on way stronger than she needs to. As the whole school trip arc proved, she just needs to talk to him calmly and explain things to him for him to at least understand her side of things (Even if he doesn't agree with it pre se). If she didn't try to just actively jump him every chance she got, but just asked him to be more intimate, maybe even going so far as to go somewhere private away from school to have that intimacy, he might be warm up to the idea a little more.

All that said though, it seems that future chapters are going to be considerably more spicy than things already have, so I imagine we'll be seeing a whole new side to Tadashi lol
