I'm 100% okay with it at this point since it seems like it means not having that girl as an eternal tagalong. Random villager A isn't really my idea of an adventuring companion.

And he travelled for many months and he had many adventures and gained many companions and then on his next adventure he realized he will come through this village and he remembered about a village girl he once saved that unbeknown to him she had a crush on him but when he reached the village he heard that the girl he once saved, while gathering herbs, was attacked by monsters and died.

That's the one part that actually makes sense in most isekai stories.
Modern humans crave adventure, because everything is so safe.
We create entire genre of media where we get to experience adventures as a proxy.
If you were given the chance to do so for real, you'd absolutely not settle down.

Call me ignorant for all I care, but what's with nips and the importance they place on having 4 seasons? Guesstimating, shouldn't a majority of earth's population live in a place where they can experience such a phenomenon?

I agree with @MaxWyght, if we were to have the same schedule as in without electronics and nothing special happens. Then most people would try to explore the country, even with electronics, those who read mangas like this wish to go in another world to explore all these unknown biomes, monsters, and different magics you can research.

That's not what I meant.
Until the industrial revolution or so, the average human's world was limited to about 50 kilometers in every direction, because traveling wasn't a real thing.

It's only in modern times that you can go anywhere ypu could want but can't afford.

What I meant was that a modern human with a modicum of magical ability will always wish to explore, because they know how big the world actually is, and now they also have the ability to do so unconstrained, since magic allows tyem to defend themselves, and pesky things like passports aren't a thing, while borders are more of a suggestion.
