I mean, say it's all bad and stuff, but I find it... rather interesting? Not the usual premise of a happy ending (everybody like those) but the harsh truth that we're only human. We're truly are vulnerable and not as strong as we think. There exists variables in life, not really much of a prefix except for birth and death with a dash of luck on our side. It's a reminiscence of reality, or at least what it used to be.
I hypothesis that the concept and ideas still lies near the realm of our reality, thus making our inner perspective squeal with disgust. Let be honest, the harrowing fate and misfortune told in the manga might be... unpleasant for us, thus the reason for us looking it with scorn. So, if you want to enjoy this work specifically, I suggest that you disregard who's the author is and read it as an objective manner. It'll help you, a bit. ... Maybe?
