On one side of the GenderBender spectrum, is this, ecchi, light-hearted and comedic. On the other side is Transjitter, depressive, psychological and dramatic.
Did TL just give up translating some of the dialogues entirely and just put whatever? Here's what the first panel in the first page actually says.
"Kemomimi (Animal ears)"
"Tsundere"
"Genderbender"
"Imouto"
Thanks for continuing the translation. I'm actually really excited to learn what fox imouto has in mind.
EDIT: Also can confirm the words on the first panel are kemonomimi (animals ears), imouto (sister), tsundere and nyotaika (word for mtf gender bender). Sure it doesn't make sense just for her to randomly say those things but the story being a bit jarring in pace isn't on the translator to fix.
tired: getting genderbent by drinking a mysterious potion, by being in a world where that just happens to people, or by having a wish misinterpreted by an obtuse god
This is dark if you see it behind the cute fluffy stuff. A god could turned your life upside down if he/she felt like it.
Maybe I will read Boku Girl after all this time
@MidnighTea
It's not random at all. In the second panel, she says after no matter how many years, the fetishes people have in this country never change. I totally butchered that sentence by the way. I'm bad at English
