It's actually kind of crazy how many emotionally stunted people drop comments on chapters like this. It's not incredibly difficult to see the dynamic at play here, especially when Asa says to hurry and grow up.
To me, it looks like Asa is alone and afraid, and the one person reaching out to her out of purity is a young boy. She's in love with him not for his age, but who he is and who he could be.
It's foolish, and ignorant of nuance to chalk this up to something so black and white as calling Asa a pedo or groomer.
