I've been curious for a while about how accessible laser treatment is for burned scars and how realistically feasible it is to revert the skin back to how it was. My only 2D exposure prior to Asukano was Hanako from Katawa Shoujo and I don't remember if the possibility of "fixing" the skin was brought up there.
I'm just more surprised she could cover it up that well with makeup because other than concealer over tattoos, the burn scars would be more 'textures' or so but IDK if there's been too much experience
I did find this but not quite too deep, but most of the other stuff from searching is the opposite of ppl doing burn scars on purpose for like cosplay reasons
Although idk how much research the author did to it versus the host club thing being more accurate but that's a more overall relatable thing than Yuki's specific case
But even without surgery hopefully she'd still be able to have creams/have ointment/treatment for burns even if she can't fully remove them yet
Although at least if she went out in public, even with judgement ppl might not be afraid and outright avoid her compared to if she was a tough looking delinquent guy although i wouldn't be surprised if some ppl asked ppl with scars/disfigurement to leave a business if they're making other customers uncomfortable
