And here it is ladies and gentlemen. The mandatory I picked a girl falling from the sky/bought at a slave market/found inside a dungeon/found inside a slime/etc. Freaking isekai and their lack of originality and stupid writing. Is it too much to ask for some variety?
@Kagenashi: He didn't resist the brainwashing, you can notice him going from 'blank eye' state to normal at the end
So either:
a) The curse user girl basically made him do this.
or
b) His class led him to cutting down these brainwashing crystals, like if he's sensitive to 'evil' and have to go cut them down cuz SAMURAAAAAAAAAAI (jack)
Kinda curious, what would you do differently. I don't mean this in a negative connotation or anything, I'm just genuinely curious about how you would make it different.
@animajunki123 For a start I would advise against employing overused tropes. Enough is enough. At some point 'the hero saved the fair maiden' gets boring, especially when the market is oversaturated with the same thing over and over again. How about an MC that doesn't have to be put in a situation where the 'fair maiden' is indebted to him/or is his slave, and he actually has to put in a little bit of effort to get her. The same applies to the skills btw, how about the reader actually having a feeling of impending doom, rather than 'I started the game on ezy mode'. As it is it would just continue with 'I got OP skill #19412930' and 'collected harem member #12830', because 'gotta catch em all'. Heck pokemon was more original than what we get in most isekai.
@criver You are asking way too much from a isekai. The moment he set foot in the dungeon i knew that he would magically gain a girl, at least it's not a loli.
sales must be pretty low again sigh...
we don't have to have girls on every story ffs
especially when they're just there to be cheerleaders and ****hole for the mc.
I really fking hope its not one of those clingy bitches/tsundere that japs love
I'm kind of confused here. Is this Samurai guy another one of the MC's classmates? I honestly don't remember this guy. I mean as far as I'm concerned, none of them had the class of Samurai, at least with the ones that they have shown thus far.
that explanation about the world at the beginning made me just know that mc will meet another race... but idk when and where... hell its in the same flipping chapter... and from the explanation at the beginning... pretty sure that god is trying to fix the world... a guy who has no presence that gets "you can know everything" + "backup shadow magic" + "good luck"... every flipping mc got that but just it is specifically called plot armor... or something im not that good with english... and now theres a samurai that came out of nowhere that seems like he was controlled by something to release the curse... oh boy... but author sure needs to learn some naming skillzs... and that slime... that is a fake slime... all slime makes female clothing non existent...
@animajunki123 I think what Criver (and I) want are well-established characters, random love interests don't exactly have the best track record in things like Isekai and Romcoms.....
@criver its kind of like people who eat at mcdonalds and think that it's the best when they've never dined at other restaurants to taste different cuisines and dishes. it's a bit shallow but subjective because at that moment it does taste good to them. for people who go eat around though...they'll have different opinions about the overrated fast food chains because they're more exposed to a variety of foods. id say reading manga is the same. a lot of people like this genre because it's popular but only a small minority can pick out a genuine story from this category. it's good to be picky.
