I know people are saying the father is still currently under the charm magic but I don't really see it, especially considering how rational he seems at the moment? But seriously HIGH PRAISE for finally slapping her! >:3 As for her past stupid mistake, the father should have just let her keep those memories and let her learn humility the hard way from all her guilt. Less annoying bratty bullshit to deal with in the future. ¬_¬

The King was away and didn't knew what was happening between the sisters. He didn't knew his daughter had been banished or whatever and just know what he saw now...

@jokerxhisoka They literally jsut said the king wasn't at the palace <.< He didn't send anyone cause he doesn't know what's going on. He literally asked her what is happening. So he doesn't know about the little sister's plot.

@WillLi @mahtan he didn't know his daughter, A.K.A. THE PRINCESS, disappeared for days... are you two for real?

What I'm questioning isn't the king's reasoning but the MC's lack of caution or not doubting anything.

@jokerxhisoka I don't think you realize how little time has passed. This is a fantasy world, they don't have cellphones and stuff. The king was literally not present when his daughter ran away, and the other daughter is mesmerizing the guards, so they wouldn't send word to him. Like literally he'd have to have been psychic to know what's happening somewhere he's not.

And the MC isn't 'suspicious' because he has ears and can overhear the conversation and that the king literally has no idea what's going on. So he knows why the king didn't send for her, cause he didn't know.

The King is a political figure in a world where there are no fast means of locomotion, one meeting with another kingdom could take months at a time and, as it is said in this chapter, he was suposed to stay away even longer but something happened and he was called back so it is more than expected that he didn't knew one of his daughter was missing, especially with everyone that could have told him about it under "mesmerization".

There is no point in doubting anything, there is no one that can really hurt the MC at this time and place...

@WillLi @mahtan If you two think that's good enough reason for the MC to not doubt.

But let's not forget that this isn't a medieval world but a fantasy world.

How could you possibly ever trust a piece of trash who used a brainwashing skill on people constantly like that?

@jokerxhisoka A fantasy world where the MC has not seen any real long distance communication. Or an easy way to do something like scrying. There is literally no reason for the MC to believe that the king -should- know what's happening. The real question is, why are you so hung up on him being suspicious of the king, when literally we as the audience know it was impossible for the king to know. The MC was given only a little info yes, but it was enough that is no reason he should be suspicious of the king. Especially now that he knows the youngest daughter has essentially mind control.

In fact it would be weirder if the king -did- send someone for his daughter. Because that would mean he either 1) is spieing on his own kingdom, which means he suspects treason, or 2) Has some kinda super powerful magical ability that lets him know stuff, which is a massive threat to the MC who specializes in stealth.

You're essentially saying the MC should be suspicious of the fact that someone didn't know something they shouldn't actually know. That's like being suspicious of someone you meet being able to talk.

King seems a bit too hands off with his parenting. But at least he stepped up to keep the rowdy one in line when it was appropriate

@WillLi no... everything you said were your own assumptions and nothing of what you said was proven or affirmed by the manga up until now.
