in the anime there wasn't even a fight between Kufa and Madia. Hope I can actually see some action in the manga

That's how it should be
No sudden power ups into something Melida isn't
Just a good plan, good training, good help, fighting to her strengths and against her weakness, and no mercy
Granted, the LN did a (relatively) longer segment on how Kufa trained Melida in hand to hand and advice on how to control distance between herself and her opponent

thanks for the chapter
this was a nice twist, from the start there were many incident and we thought they culprit behind them all was Madia, but then we were proven wrong, all of them were done by different people
then the person we thought was obviously Madia wasn't Madia, I love it when my expectation are overturned in such a good way

Not that I complain, but if he were a good assassin he should have expected such a petty trick. His former job was absolutely not for show and after all there were too many flags already.

it's because the anime was missing stuff like this that it sucked. :T

In the anime, Melida disn't disarm Elise at all, she just... won that fight. It didn't come down to a difference in training or whatever, in the anime Melida was just stronger than Elise for no reason. :/

@Shirotato : It's a bit different, but
Myne from Bookworm is also in that vein.

Everything about her 'abnormality' has something in-universe that explains it.
Her weird inventions/'common sense'? Reincarnation so she has knowledge on things (in her past life, her mother had try a lot of hobbyist creations so Myne had experience making some of the stuffs)
Her high amount of mana capacity? Her suppressing the fever is actually very much the same thing teen/adult nobles do to increase mana capacity, but they only do it later because it requires high strength of will and failure = death, so Myne being reincarnated and having an adult level of mental strength matters in her surviving until the event leading her to no longer have to do it.
etc.
