Almost 80 comments of people whining about Nanao this, Mai that, original premise, character development... and not once was the idea of a harem ending mentioned. If Asumi was a man, I'm sure harem would be the only posible ending everyone would think about. I'm not complaining, I just find it funny.
I thought that much was obvious, after this Asumi won't be able to tell Nanao they are just friends but she still wants to search, and Nanao already said she doesn't mind Asumi being a customer, result, going to search for Mai with your girlfriend and threesomes, simple yet super original and fresh for some reason.

I can't, i just can't. The fact that the premise is so easily forgotten just bother me too much to enjoy what happen. Just, why the fuck put a premise if you throw it out of the window half way through the story ? Like, so far you could have done without the childhood friend part and nothing will have changed much but we have it and it bothers people like me too much and waste my enjoyment.
Sometimes the thing you're looking for isn't what you find. That's life, and it makes for a more interesting, flavor-packed romance. I presume Asumi's two desires will come into conflict eventually, but personally, I'm hoping she goes with Nanao in the end. First love is meant to linger in memory, not define the future.

It’s smut. or do you watch porn for the plot too?
I watch films for some combination of story & art. And some of the films I most respect involve fairly explicit sex. It doesn't negate their other qualities.

Same is true of comics. Great art and good stories often coexist with so-called "smut".

Mai: "Wait, the Nanao-chan arc was supposed to get this serious instead of being a stepstone in Asumi's search for me?"

Yay, she's back! It's almost impressive how a manga this lewd also manages to feel dare I say wholesome, and this chapter is another great example of that. The great art style certainly doesn't hurt either. From here where the story goes, no one knows... but I do actually hope there won't be un-wholesome drama introduced. Something's likely to happen with the Mai vs Nanao situation of course, but they all seem like pretty chill people from what's been shown so far so there's at least a good chance it won't be anything nasty. Personally I'd like to see Nanao-chan's feelings reciprocated in full, but in either case I'll certainly be watching Asumi-chan's "career" with great interest.

Cliffhanger of the fuckin CENTURY.

Not to mention all of the little ways that this also deviates from the times the girls have been with escorts is also such a nice touch. They aren't quite running off the same script, so it's so much messier (in the best way possible)

You managed to top for a whole chapter?? I'm so proud of ya Asumi-chan, you put all that experience to work. Unfortunately next chapter you would switch back to your usual position though, haha. Can't wait to read Nanao-chan topping her.

I'll be honest, I feel the exact same way. I was so invested in mai and asumi finally meeting that I straight up skipped some chapters because it was beating around the bush too hard. Then I learn that the author basically threw out that plot that hooked me to begin with halfway through to pursue a romance plot with a character I don't really care about?

Yeah, I'm gonna have to drop this manga. Even if the content is good, I can't get over my main motivation for continuing to read it just vanishing. Maybe I'll check the comments here every now and then to see how things developed, but apart from that, I'll just read something that doesn't ship-bait me.

IDK what's up with y'all like, we got one whole flashback chapter like 1 volume in about anything substantial to Mai's character and like, a few panels of her POV here and there. It was like obvious Asumi was getting more swept up in casual lesbian sex than "reunion with destined romantic partner". We only get like, Mai was attracted (romantically) to Asumi when they were young, and Asumi didn't really understand the romantic implications of what they got up to together. Whereas the bulk of the manga has been, wow sex with new people in new ways is cool and fun. Now, the "new way", is someone who is romantically into her which is somewhat reciprocal. She's barrelling into, either oh, "I like this way the most, lets start multiple romances (wouldn't be out of the picture for her OR nanao really)" Or "oh this was really damn meaningful and I should be a bit more deliberate with this, lets pump the brakes on Mai/Nanao and figure out how I feel". Though really, she hasn't actually engaged much with what she's felt romantically for Mai, but has done much more per Nanao. To me it makes way more sense that someone besides Mai was going to spur some sort of development of her understanding her romantic desires, because they were really abstracted in the beginning, with the whole, "I'm going to find my Important Childhood Friend", since she's y'know, out of the picture.

I staunchly believe that there is no wrong way to enjoy a story, but the idea of someone trying to skip to the presumed climax and only read the resolution kinda tests that belief.

Well excuse my ass for having ADHD and a hundred other things to read. Apparently I'm not allowed to get bored of how a story is being written.
