It's not ending too soon at least. This'll be the first chapter of vol 7, meaning at minimum we're getting 4 more chapters. It could go longer, of course. There's still lots of ground left to cover:
Asumi and Mai have to meet up again to reconnect, not through the brothel (also, Mai is in Tōkyō for work, and she probably can't just leave her assignment early, so that meeting could be a while.)
We still have to get a Mai sex scene cause there's no way this series is ending without that happening.
We still need to resolve Nanao's story. Presumably Mai will confess at some point, and that will put Asumi in the position of choosing between her and Nanao, which could also lead to poly.
(even in the event of only dating Mai, there's no way their relationship is gonna be fully closed and monogamous. Mai's probably not gonna wanna quit her job and even if she was ok with that, Asumi wouldn't want her to quit either, and Asumi is definitely not kicking that brothel habit, girlfriend be damned. She's an addict. You really think that's how this manga will end? "Well i used to love lesbian brothels but I'm over them now that I'm in an committed, exclusive, monogamous relationship!"? Come on now. This isn't that kind of story and you know it.)

Poly is acceptable. But given how little dynamic Asumi and Mai have up until now, pulling a fast one to make Mai the end game is like a slap to many readers. If author uses 2 or so volumes to build their relationship then I will reconsider.

This was the core of the series , the kiss with Mai that Asumi was too young to appreciate at the time, it was the perfect way to start the next part of Asumi's journey trough her sex filled life after finding Mai and deciding if she keeps going despite achieving her goal or stopping with brothels and getting a girlfriend.

I don't know why people complain that they didn't fuck in this chapter.Nanao's chapters were so good, because they had had this build up in their relationship and even a whole chapter dating. Give Mai a chance to conquer Asumi's heart. I want to see her head explode, when she has to choose between Nanao and Mai.

To be honest, if the author continues doing silly little brothel trips every chapter, without starting to work through the relationships he's built between Asumi and everyone else from the recurring cast + Mai, I'll be massively bothered by it.

Like, I can understand if they want to show Asumi as someone who likes going to brothels, but if we're still getting every chapter a reservation with a new chick, or one of the brothel girls which she's barely interacted with, AFTER FINALLY LETTING HER MEET MAI, it'd be such a waste.

There's some interesting drama and conflicted feelings to milk even out of sex scenes with people she's now more intimate with, and with her motivation for going to brothels having been resolved now, there should be something more juicy to put into them besides Asumi's increased libido that she'd rather deny.

I've always said this series was good because of its pacing and natural feeling dialogue between the girls. While I still believe that... it DID kinda suck getting blueballed after that one stunning panel of Mai getting into bed. Knowing I have to wait at least two months to see what happens next? Devastating.
