I will never get their popularity. Website is shitty. Translation is shitty MTL. Community is shitty.

Their website is now just riddled with on touch / click ads and they push their subscription every chapter with a 5 second pop up banner. All the ads are just p*rn ads. Site used to be great now it’s not even worth opening.

6 months later here is an update: after the owner changed they have started really pushing paid subscriptions and quality has massively decreased. they have aggressive ads, banner popups, log in prompts that disrupt reading unless you make custom UBO rules

They have almost entirely given up on fixing errors (they sometimes fix the most popular series if its bad enough) in favor of just pushing as many series as they can. For example at the time of writing chapter 119 of Perfect Hybrid also known as Genius of the Unique Liniage, is missing half the chapter even after a week. there are many duplicate text boxes, most of which never get fixed and typos almost every chapter

on their website the comments of every new series they pick up are just full of paying subscribers (20$/yr) begging them to stop picking up new series and the comments have 150-200 likes <5-10 dislikes.

paywalls have also been expanded, they are now on all series. paying subscribers were initially given access to paywalled chapters until asura added a higher tier subscription after people had already paid for the first one

recently their releases have also started getting even longer delays often for days or even weeks (that doent stop them from paywalling them though)

it all reeks of trying to squeeze out the last couple dollars from their users before bailing with the money
