Its all very cute, just why is she acting like a 3yr old when she was an adult? I'd get being mystified about their insistance of sending a 3yr old to the capital on their own but yeah she's acting so out of her mental age lol

I believe it’s either been mentioned or implied that despite her mental age, her mind is affected by her physical state (fact that she’s a fox cub + young spirit). All of which is reflected in her behavior so far, and well it makes sense really.
If anything IMO series with super young MC, but very mature mind are the ones that should feel a bit odd, though there are so many of them cause probably the gap makes it interesting, the notion become normalized.

With the super young being mature isn't an issue for me if they are reincarnations my issue with those usually are they don't get treated weirdly or anything everyone always just goes "Oh he/she's a prodigy" and I'm like he/she's 4 and doing things adults can't do normally.

I completely agree. In reality this will freak people out.

Just wanna add, I know it’s all fiction, but if we’re talking about a person, the reason why children are immature is in large parts due to their brain still developing. No matter how much knowledge and experience they possess this physical state will affect their emotions and decision making (which is one reason why different laws apply to children).

It’s always amusing thinking about this and putting series such as Detective Conan in perspective.

Anyway, not many series take this into account. I can only think of maybe this and Chibikko kenja on the top of my head that do this.
