The team color names can be confusing when taken out of context, but nothing sounds more unintentionally racist than discussing laundry. All this talk of "whites" and "colors" and "separating whites and colors", and using bleach to make things whiter, the amount and temperature of water you should use on whites and colors. Depending on how you phrase it, it can sound very racist.

So can dental whitening treatment discussions. "I need them whiter, they're not white enough!" (when discussing teeth)
