I actually thought it was a satisfying ending.

....mmm.... there's just such a gap between the anything-goes comedy of that first chapter and the ultimately bittersweet finale. Of course, it's still a great read. Just kinda... I wonder if the author planned it this way, or something of it grew organically. Well, whatever. I think it could have gone longer by sticking to the comedy route, but if it's gotta go, it's gotta go.

Also... amidst all the varied anime/manga archetypes, the twin tail, blonde tsundere stands in a league of its own.

... I think he did.... repeatedly... Calling her "mother"(kaa-san) all the time and all.... If she was too dumb to notice that, that's on her.

Overall, not bad. Far from the best and had many "wtf" moment from the get go, but not bad.
