I don't know what other people's preference in garbages or their infatuation on it but man I don't think this is a garbage. If I'm seeing it without my own biases and tastes it's okay at most but to call it hot garbage? I'm sure there's a pool of actual hot garbage series out there and you're doing them a favor instead.

But alas I don't think I'm one to talk about preferences, we're just humans after all. The world will be boring if everyone likes the same thing and there's always a saying : Someone's garbage is another man's treasure.

this reminds a little of jigoku shoujo, not that bad at all but it does need some taste for it, because you will be seeing trash person doing trash things with innocent person all the time, there are people that dont like this stuff

im going to be honest. this isnt a good manga. but despite that it manages to persist in being entertaining

• plot is convoluted to say the least. id describe it as wide as the ocean shallow as a puddle
• power scaling is a mess dont bother trying to think about it just turn your brain off
• pacing is oddly good since you never have a character that annoys you well, exist for too much longer lol.
• characters are rather give or take, mc doesnt have any standout quirks outside of his drive for revenge and most of his summons seems to act how you would expect a summon to act: unconditional loyalty to their summoner. so that leaves the catharsis mobs who exists for a few chapters as vile scum before you get to enjoy them being erased and the random passerby who despite 150 chapters still arent too fleshed out yet

id suggest somone to give this a go if their bored and need a time-killer but if your looking for a series your really going to get into this aint it chief

then he's like

then they are like

I'm honestly astonished at how many people absolutely despise a manga because of extremely petty reasons and wish that the entire industry would conform around them. Anyone voting this literal award winning manga as anything less than an 8 is judging the manga purely out of spite as their one and only determining factor. I just wish that almost everyone on mangadex would at the very least have the decency and integrity to make a fair rating instead of voting every remotely decent manga as a 1.

If garbage and vomit had a child it would be this story. Crazier still is the amount of brain dead people that voted it anything above 6/10. The writer must have been jacking it while writing this. Toe kissing and telling a young boy lies so that he will bath naked with you. Truly unfortunate that it has similarities to Overlord and people are using it as a comparison to this pure trash.

Ok for all the people here who keep saying that this story is garbage, you really aren't seeing the full appeal. in my opinion.

Now, is it boring when the MC just whips out a card and solves all his problems easily. Yes. And, trust me, I have gotten bored of revenge stories and I would have left this one a long time ago it it wasn't for the greater appeal.

Unless you haven't really been reading deep into it, there is a greater conspiracy going on here about the Masters and "C". I for one am curious about it, so I stick with this story to see where it is going to end up. What is "C"? What is the deal with the Masters? And, better yet, is there a single one of them that might be able to rival Light and give us more fight scenes? I am already dying to see the the fight between light and this guy who just wounded Fenris. And then theres what the demon prince said about having C in his custody.

Plus, the princess of the humans is planning to overthrow her father, which will definitely be interesting.

So everyone PLEASE just chill and give this story a chance to get better. It's getting an anime adaptation so it must be considered good on some level, right? There is an appeal that enough people liked. (and on a personal note, I like seeing monsters like these get punished).
