I like revenge plot manga, but the author of this manga keeps stalling the story with a nonsensical side plot. At first, it will give you hype for the genius planning of the MC and his troop for every enemy that they fought, but when they executed the plan, suddenly the MC and his troop can't kill them coz "this" and "there" and it will extend for 3-4 chapters (it keeps you edging on every arc coz the author keeps stalling with nonsense plots that it can easily resolve in the end with OP trump card/power of MC). Also, the power scaling is so messy ((the MC is lvl 9999 but the lvl 8888 could par the MC in a physical fight. Edit* After reading ch. 167, it looks like there's even more powerful enemy/ally?? that could rival the MC coz all the masters from dragonewt and demonkin are so obsessed with this "C" dude. Note* those masters' lvl were around 7000 - 9000 (based on the previous chapters) and this "C" dude's lvl is more likely the same as the MC (This is only my thoughts about this "C" dude since the latest ch. is not translated yet))).

the story starts out at a weak 2 rating, but after binging all the way up to chapter 171, I can confidently say that this story is a solid 7.5 or a strong 8. Especially when its apparent that the author treats the story seriously and began to unfold more information regarding why the betrayal happened and how deep the iceberg really is.

keep your mind open and you might actually uncover gems in the places you least expected.
