I would consider those claw slashes worse than his normal attacks because Pickle tends to eat garbage and chill in sewers. I bet he has allot of nasty bacteria under his nails too so realistically speaking Jack should get infected from those deep scratches. But Jack prob has super immune system at this point so won't do much against him.

Pickle’s MO in every fight he’s in is to stand there and tank hits like a dumbass and sandbag before locking in and winning via stat check. It’s how he beat Retsu, Katsumi, technically Baki, etc.
