"ermmmm, where is this Jack arc delusion coming from? It's called those around Baki guys, c'mon"
The length y'all go
Jack's first proper fight in Rahen is with Koushou who has not had proper screen time in multiple instalments of the series and is supplemented by a completely unrelated return of Hanada who has not shown up since Grappler Baki. This added to the fact that his fight with Hanayama was more about the fact the two of them never met than either of them in particular, the little spotlight on Katou and Baki, Doppo and Shinshinkai's sparring session... I don't know why the title literally being the series' mission statement of showing off the entire cast and, I don't know, the fact that Itagaki (the author, I repeat, author of the manga) is not focusing entirely on Jack isn't enough to show you people the manga is not focusing entirely on Jack.
A lot of the time when I go through comments on Baki it feels like that one One Piece shitpost that goes something like "no way you actually take the author as your source"
