It's weird that the MC literally doesn't understand she was essentially blacklisted from the industry in that area. It's also pretty weird that knowing that the guy who fired her seems to be petty and narrowminded that him blacklisting her is the most obvious outcome from her actions. Is she just a moron with a flower garden for a brain?

MC: This medical industry is incredibly reckless and lacking in careful consideration!
MC: Recklessly provokes her boss and carelessly uses experimental drugs on herself

It seems like the author knows a little bit more than usual about how medicine and mechanics blend together, but this is quite a rough start.

I'll have to give a couple more chapters to see if it will be any different from other similar trope, that said Luke is carrying this series I feel like.
Saved by pretty boy is a recipe for disaster, she is a disney princess.

God the ex boss and ex seniors all deserve the reputation hit they're about to face. Awful people, even trying to blacklist her from the industry.

Thanks for the tl!

Something bothersome about these "fired from a bad workplace stories" is that the MC often carries the entire workplace. They're super-productive, or they make superior products, or they have a cheat skill of some kind. What's offputting about this is the idea that if they were mediocre at the job, then losing them wouldn't matter. The terrible boss would never notice that cutting an employee for petty reasons has hurt them.

I just think it'd be nice for a black-company story to treat all their people with dignity. They don't deserve their job because they're a genius worker, they deserve it because they're a human being.

the crux of the issue here is that if a black company was treating their staff with respect and dignity, they wouldnt be a black company 😅

I find it funny when the trash reap the consequences of their actions, but it really irritates me to see how fast they were to slander someone who left after not taking the abuse and how all the people whose job it was to handle applications refused to do their job because of rumour mongering...

even if she was "blacklisted" they have to state as much and not just refuse to do their work... it was clear she wasn't blacklisted by the fact the person she helped was able to do their job without issue...

Bro I mean the dog, she named the dog Luke lol. Unless that dog turns into a handsome dawg later then it is what it is, but that's spoiler territory if it's true.

I guess the common, lazy way of doing this keeps the morality of it personal to the MC, and the consequences 1:1. Which is useful if you're just using it to establish the MC's background rather than making it ABOUT the company.

One cynical reason that I doubt you'll see your wish come true: When a fictional black company fires the world's protagonist and suffers for it, they don't actually get their comeuppance because they were an exploitative black company. They fail because they were bad at doing business, and didn't adequately utilize (maximally exploit) the protagonist. If you tell the story in a way where it isn't fantasy violence, money or market forces that are doing the punishing of the evil company, you run the risk of your work becoming Political.

Hm interesting. At least it has some truthful elements to what a pharmacist in a hospital system actually does.

i feel like i have read this story ten times before but it seems okay for now so i'll stick with it for now
It's the story equivalent of junk food. It plays by the numbers and doesn't try to deviate from any of the known tropes and just does the same thing that it's predecessors have done but with a slightly different coat of paint. And it's sometimes just fun to eat junk food.

Thank you to the team, but typesetter/translator be careful of pronouns and text placement. You had "Serizawa-san" written as "Mr Serizawa" when it should have been "miss" or "Ms.", because that's referring to the female MC. Text are also sometimes shifted out of the bubble weirdly.
I'm hoping this is just a blip and not scanlation team using AI because pronoun errors and the text being misaligned is a hallmark of AI translation.
