Saved by pretty boy is a recipe for disaster, she is a disney princess.I'll have to give a couple more chapters to see if it will be any different from other similar trope, that said Luke is carrying this series I feel like.
the crux of the issue here is that if a black company was treating their staff with respect and dignity, they wouldnt be a black company 😅Something bothersome about these "fired from a bad workplace stories" is that the MC often carries the entire workplace. They're super-productive, or they make superior products, or they have a cheat skill of some kind. What's offputting about this is the idea that if they were mediocre at the job, then losing them wouldn't matter. The terrible boss would never notice that cutting an employee for petty reasons has hurt them.
I just think it'd be nice for a black-company story to treat all their people with dignity. They don't deserve their job because they're a genius worker, they deserve it because they're a human being.
Bro I mean the dog, she named the dog Luke lol. Unless that dog turns into a handsome dawg later then it is what it is, but that's spoiler territory if it's true.Saved by pretty boy is a recipe for disaster, she is a disney princess.
I guess the common, lazy way of doing this keeps the morality of it personal to the MC, and the consequences 1:1. Which is useful if you're just using it to establish the MC's background rather than making it ABOUT the company.Something bothersome about these "fired from a bad workplace stories" is that the MC often carries the entire workplace. It's the story equivalent of junk food. It plays by the numbers and doesn't try to deviate from any of the known tropes and just does the same thing that it's predecessors have done but with a slightly different coat of paint. And it's sometimes just fun to eat junk food.i feel like i have read this story ten times before but it seems okay for now so i'll stick with it for now
