That's definitely one of the plans of all time... I guess it's the best the author could come up with to bring Menka into the main plot. Never expect anything from erotica authors, and you'll never be disappointed.
Anyway, even though this seems to work out well for Wakou, with him getting rid of the mortgage on the house, I feel like there needs to be some real karmic retribution for Menka. Otherwise, what's the point of the story? Someone could argue that, in real life, most people go unpunished. To that I'd say: Wakou has three wives now. So we're clearly not operating under real-world logic.
Welp, let's see what happens. I hope there's more to the president's plan than just this.

I think I decoded the plan of the president, because Menka is an "influencer", if she triggers the break up of that other affair an exposes that she uses an app for sugar babying, that will hurt her brand, because remember..... the idol/influencer culture is really parasocial so if the news of her is using that app, her career as a inlfuencer is over, wakou was kind to her, but do not forget.... others are not like Wakou and they could be out for blood. meanwhile him is chilling with his three wives and soon four..... because you all know... Ayase's friend.
I think the president wants to teach a lesson to Menka, Menka basically right now is on a position of getting the best of two worlds, the legality of being the wife of a president, BUT also having wakou close. of course Menka is disposable but the president is not retarded... he knows Menka is an influencer and knows the executives of brands want the clout of those influencers, so I think that's why she wants to recruit menka.... sandbag the competition and ruin Menka's influencer life.

I've been thinking about it, and I think the president's plan can work if what he's really doing is setting Menka up to have her ego destroyed. He knows she destroyed Wakou's confidence and walked away without facing any consequences. Now he's forcing her to work side by side with the man she broke, but that man has changed.
Wakou has three wives, he's over his ED, and he doesn't need her validation anymore. He's thriving without her, and she'll be forced to watch it firsthand as they work together to carry out this plan. If he shows that he's completely over her, it could deal a heavy blow to her ego. It could work even better if she ends up falling for him in the process.
Also, Menka has always been the one using men, but in this plan, she's the one being used. The president is using her as a tool for corporate espionage, and the son of the other company's president will probably use her as a toy. Menka isn't the one pulling the strings. For once, she's the pawn, not the player, and she's too arrogant to even realize it.
With this plan, the president gets his corporate espionage handled, humbles a woman who deserves it, and gives Wakou the closure he never got. I think he could be playing a calculated game, and Menka doesn't even realize she's the pawn because she's too focused on the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
So yeah, I guess it can work if the author handles it well... which I'm not too confident about, to be honest.

Yeah, I definitely called it lol.
I think he's doing this because they both know each other, and thus it would be more convenient. I don't know how honeypots generally work, but a random stranger being the handler would def not be an easy job. Plus, he's already got dirt on Wakou and his harem is comfortable only because they are currently living in president's expensive apartment. So Wakou is as loyal as you can realistically get.
The point of the story has from the start been about Wakou moving on successfully from a toxic and manipulative marriage, and finding a surge in popularity after divorce. I don't think the story has ever been about revenge, his wife only existed as source of mental trauma. Esp given the MC's excessive "kindness"
Plus, as some believe, the best revenge is managing to lead a successful life and finding happiness. And having 3 wives is as successful as you can get, as shown by menka's wtf face. Honestly her contorted face is more satisfying than I expected. Hope we get more of that
