My greatest fear in this... is if they got Limeira, if they succeed in turning her into a necro-soldier... a lot of things will get complicated.
I do think they failed (there are a few things said later that may confirm that, but nothing conclusive), but is exactly a guarantee, and you never know.
Not even in the slightest worried about Caerula, it will take a lot more than a little trap like that to kill that cold-blooded leech.
