I just finished watching Future Diary, and while the latter half was quite a mess, I at least enjoyed it and really like the whole battle royale/survival game concept. Anyone have any manga recs of good stories that would fit under this category? They don't have to be masterpieces but I'm at least hoping for a good/enjoyable read.
Poll exists because I'm curious about other's opinions on the subgenre, please humor me and I apologize if people don't like posts with polls

Jinrou Game is a manga based on the werewolf game with high schoolers and actual death. It's basically what you expect from if you have ever played werewolf. People are assigned hidden roles, some are villagers and some are werewolves. Each day all the players vote to kill someone, and every night the werewolves murder someone. The game is over when there are no more werewolves or villagers. The fun part of the manga is trying to figure out the mystery of who the werewolves are or seeing characters avoid detection as a wolf while navigating the relationships of the characters.

The manga is on it's third series, we got one as a villager, one as a werewolf, and the new one is about an added role, a fox that isn't a werewolf or a villager.

I liked "Darwin's game" a lot, but that series really jumped the shark. "Real accounts"' okay. Also, like the others have said, "Btooom" and "Future Diary" are good, too; And, actually, Yuno Gasai from Future Diary is my favorite anime character.

@Greenfrost

Oh I Agree. I still like it but they definitely surprise pikachu flipped the entire table.

It's definitely not a Survival Game manga anymore.

I read quite a lot of manga with this theme, but most are pretty bad like 'Voting Game' and 'Kingdom Game'.
At the end of the day, these manga is just mindless fun. For that I give you 'Real Account' and 'King's Game'
If you want something that is quite plot heavy, go for 'Alice in Borderland' or 'Btooom'

Here just a lot of random ones:
-Tenkuu Shinpan
-Darwin's Game
-Appli Trap
-Battle in 5 Seconds
-Rengoku Deadroll
-Tomodachi Game (don't really fit the theme but whatever)

I would recommend Shuuen no Shiori, but I don’t think it necessarily fits what you’re looking for. It has some elements like survival and distrust because one of their friends is supposedly a “fox” or traitor. However, if you’re looking for a series like Danganronpa, I’m not sure I can help you there. Definitely check out Shuuen no Shiori though, it’s really good.

you said battle royale so World Trigger is a great one
You might have to read some 10 chapters in first before you get to the "rank battles" which then take up the next like 150 chapters.
If you get tired of shonen protagonists wining with the power of friendship and feelings, fear not, because in these rank battles, strategy is the most important and feelings get you nowhere.

Your Turn to Die is based off the video game of the same name, it's a death game I guess, and it's pretty good too.
