It is enough for the same kind of being to have attacked a city and immediately that species that is animal (or monster in this case) becomes the enemy of man.
Here it is not even a question of ignorance but of pure wickedness, the inhabitants of that village want only to exterminate monsters.

If your village has been repeatedly attacked by monsters in the past, you'd shoot and ask questions later if one shows up at the gate with a human child in their grasp.

It's not an excuse, it's an explanation.

The other monsters are guilty too. Or the nature of both humans and monsters, that doesn't make them trust "alien" species from the start.

@Kirin-kun it was heath both times that attacked the town after the towns people attacked her but humans are fickle so just remember it as the monster attacked us for no reason not we threw rocks at young monster who then attacked us after we injuried it. just like how the USA today ignores its own crimes and acts like a lot of its enemies made the first strike when it was them most of the time

I also like how, in a way, she’s building up “allies” (and two very prominent ones at that) for what I would assume is an inevitable confrontation with the town.

Also I wonder if it’s a continuity error, but this wasn’t the same story as the incident involving little Heath and the girl.

@ElizLestrad Nah, the mother mentioned the village was wary of monsters since one had appeared 'many years before', so she's not the same girl from back when Heath was a loli bocchi. Apparently, Heath just has a history of carrying smol girls back to the same village.

And I would throw money at an anime adaptation for this story. It's filled my need for human x monstergirl yuri while waiting for the next season of Kobiyashi Dragon Maid.

Still make me wonder how Heath age because the first girl she carry when she was a loli bocchi was most likely Lily's mother and here she carry Mari's mother and she had roughly the same height she has now but it was before Lily's birth so if i must guess approximatively Heath's age she must have between 40 and 50 years.
