I dont know wha the say about this chapter, not much makes sense... He bought the dog right ? He didnt steal him, he didnt do a crime. And why......why are these asses attacking his room ? what do they want.

@Velsy yeah, seems kinda stupid to let them go just like that. All we/he know is that some people attacking him and immediately he assumed they was sent by the slaver.
Should probably interrogate them 1st.

@Velsy They're the expedition force, the organization his body's former owner supposedly betrayed by helping a demon kin. He was recognized in the previous town. 1 + 1 = 2 sort of deal with that I guess.

@Kyujyu Since he thinks they're the people he wanted to pay off to pretend to do whatever he wrote on that thing, and nothing seems to have stood out to him other than they were seemingly doing a good job of it, he has no reason to suspect they weren't yet so he let them go.
