I normally don't like it when translators change the names of characters, but I feel like Chinese names are so hard to pronounce properly that it makes more sense to just change them.

The setting looks more like fantasy medieval Europe, not China, so the Chinese names looked out of place, except of course for the main character. I can't say I'd be any good at remembering Chinese names, but naturally when reading xianxia, I like to see Chinese names. However, this isn't xianxia, so if the characters haven't got any ties to Chinese looking culture/setting, it makes little sense for them to have such names.
