Miura would NEVERRRRR have tossed in several assets of the Hagia Sophia for Kushan. That's not era OR geographically accurate, Kushan is a pre-islamic south Asian kingdom for one and the Hagia Sophia is NOT A PALACE for two.

And also WTF is going with Puck's characterization? Look at the black swordsman arc and then this. That's not the same character. And in fact, he's not even the same as chestnut puck because this puck just doesn't give a fuck about anything??? That's the opposite of what Puck is like.
Erm... You do know that the Hagia Sophia is not islamic, right? Like, it pre-dates the birth of Islam.

Other than that, I agree, it's still does not feel right, even more so since depictions like this one only cement the misconception that this orthodox Christian church is actually an islamic construct.

I should probably just take a decade long break from reading berserk because even a decent chapter doesnt do anything for me with this pacing and release schedule..

I am distressed by how they will handle Guts despair, hoping it's done well. Not just give into the armor for power up.

Kushan attacking seems interesting but I preferred the interpersonal drama then just big battles.

I predict that the psychic girl will somehow learn the truth from Casca's memories and then tell everyone leading to the kingdom turning against Griffith... either that or maybe he'll lose control over the demon army at some point. I say that because It doesn't seem like there'll be much place for them in the "utopia" he's creating. Not to mention that the other godhand are probably plotting something considering that he's trying to take over all planes of existence for himself.

Feels like I'm going to die of old age before we get even decently far into this arc. I get that things are hard now that Miura's gone, but how on earth is it still going so slow? What's going on behind the scenes that's making this go just as slow as it was when Miura was steering the helm?

Unironically, a documentary about how this manga gets created now that Miura is gone would be almost as interesting as the real plot.
I dont even have an issue with waiting, I have an issue with not knowing whats going on..
