Guts' smile here reminds me of the Black Swordman arc. He might snap back into that darkness, now that he has lost his light once more.
Hope the ragman is killed here finally, mayhap taking Daiba alongside him. As amusing a character he is, the foul snake should've perished with his dark lord.

This is worded a lot better than the other one. Also I really need to know how Daiba explained things while omitting the demon womb and demon hybrids. "The emperor and I were just conducting our normal above board magic experiments when out of nowhere Ganishka turned into a gigantic tree monster and the falcon of light killed him."

I feel like I just read a chapter full of water. There was some worldbuilding on the level of generic fantasy and the kurultai development was pure cliche with no real tension, probably because Miura isn't there to write hedonistic nobles with boylust anymore. There are no edgy jabs at authority or foreign cultures like in the arcs before THE BOAT.
It is sad, but berserk, even during Miura's reign, turned into something incredibly bland after that.

The last line states tragedy begins...man no room left for imagination, if tragedy is used in Berserk's world. Thanks for the translation..
