I liked the little stickmen on the first page. Also since when was Farnese this powerful?
For some time now, she just got more confident in her magic.

The four cardinal's ritual was one of the first things Schierke taught her.

But it is good mostly for weakening and protection, with high ranking being like Rakshas it mostly would annoy them, but I think it is particularly effective with him because he is a being of shadow but nothing more, but for trolls, it affects their connection to this plane greatly and makes them much weaker if not downright kills some.

So is it just wake up time or will this be a power upgrade? I feel like the darkness of Guts will straight up absorb the dark assassin like he's drinking a protein shake. Darkness is the fuel that drives him and it has always caused him to grow stronger.

Frankly, Guts needs an upgrade because, right now, the Falcon of Light outclasses him by miles.
It's always been an uphill struggle for Guts. Would be nice for him to somehow make the shadow subservient to him and/or get a shadow armor or at least a replacement arm out of this encounter.

Can y'all remind me what state Guts was in before he was taken off the ship? I remember they tried diving into his psyche but don't remember the outcome.

Edit - Schierke and Guts were last seen in their spiritual forms on/in a dragon vein trying not to be "washed away". Schierke's body was comatose (her body moved to a bedroom) and Guts was as usual grunting and groaning in an underground prison cell (where Rakshas is heading now).

I get what you mean but this really isn't that kind of story from what Miura showed us. Power beyond human limitations always comes at a far too heavy price. And trying to scale to something abstract like Femto is just not possible. If Guts is set to kill him it'll take something way more complicated than getting better at swinging a sword and killing monsters.

Yeah, my bet is that the key to Griffith/Femto's defeat will be the Moonlight Boy, due to them sharing a physical vessel since the end of the Conviction Arc.

I don't think I'll ever be used to Puck being drawn "normal" (like the early chapters) permanently now
I wonder if that's something Miura's assistants feel is off-limits, like something that was so uniquely Miura's humor, that they don't feel comfortable attempting to mimic drawing chestnut puck?
