It's really not the same anymore.

I have such a hard time following what's happening with the series, every panel feels so disjointed. I want to continue loving this series so badly but I just don't understand what's happening.
Considering the author died it's better than anything we really deserve tbh. Miura's art, the story, his characters, the worldbuilding etc were quite literally one of a kind and totally irreplaceable. all things considered I'm just glad we'll get a resolution to this amazing manga, even if it is several steps down in quality.

I'm not sure how to feel about it honestly.

Part of me would have accepted if the series never got to reach its ending. While the team is the same, it's no longer the author's work, it's an interpretation of what he envisioned based on the notes and discussions he's had in the past, and I don't think we can reach the same result.

Another part of me wants closure with Berserk because it's been such a great journey, and I'd like to believe it when they say it's an homage to Miura's work and that's what he would have wanted too. The cynical me thinks it's so that they can milk the franchise as much as possible.
