Right? I just re-read the whole thing (started last month and just read the last chpt), and one thing that stands out is how much of a c*nt Griffith is. Not only the whole eclipse, SA, betrayal of his friends, ending the world by his own desire, and only to build a world that infuses bad and good in a way that the people live without free will, cause there's no where else to go but Falconia. Not only that, the fucker waits till caska is back only to rip the group apart, ruins elfheim (that had ABSO-F-LUTELY nothing to do with anything else happening in the world) just to get "the bird back in his cage".
The "did nothing wrong" is an old meme used by edgy kids who couldn't handle the subjects in the story, and there is so much to be thought about BERSERK. Caska's recovery during the dream broke me in tears for about 6 chapters straight, so much pain and such a barrier to deal with it.
Everyone's will and wishes gets corrupted without their consent by the god of desire that is Griffith. The guy did nothing wrong, except literally betraying each and every one living thing in the material and eterial world, only to bend them to his desire. You gotta be a envious little bitch to be jerking yourself to the freak.
What a great manga this is, Rip miura sensei, thank you so much, and thank you Studio GAGA and everyone involved in keeping it moving. The art changed, and its a painful but beautiful memory of what was miuras work, but the will to see it finished is enough to make me belive the party will see an dignified ending. And that is all we can ask.
