Do not have such high expectations.
Shoujo ai is a term made by foreign anime/manga fans.
This may be Girls' Friendship rather than Girls' Love story.


I checked the reliable Baka-Updates Manga database, and the magazine has only one registered as yuri/shoujo_ai:

@Faust9 I like Towa Oshima works and when I first saw the pictures I could tell that i was going to like it. I am a big fan of books/anime/movies that has bullying or hazing. I always like the underdog in stories. I love to see people overcome their circumstances and rise above them. I am also big fan of Yuri manga/anime and who knows maybe the story could build into it, but i don't think it may in this one, but I am hoping.

It appears that the true Demographic tag is actually Seinen, not Shounen.
Is this even Shoujo Ai? It would be more like Girls' Friendship than Girl's Love even if it is indeed Shoujo Ai?

The author and artist does Yuri works, but I don't know about this work...?
