@Bufuman Do large breasts affect the upper back, mid, lower, a mix or all? I kinda thought it only hurt upper back for the most part, just basing that on google and that a large gut will get your lower back. She is lifting with her back not her knees. course she's gonna get hurt lol

@kite722 you don't get used to bodily problems, especially back pain

Why didn't Takeda stop here immediately and tell her to use her legs, though? It must be the Japanese thing where someone lower in the hierarchy can't advice someone higher, even if the higher person's mistake would be lethal.

Pro tip : crouch down and use your legs momentum to lift when picking up boxes instead of bending over using your upper body

No one is ever mentions what to do with your upper body.
You need to lift your shoulders up then pull them back then pull them down.
This will lock your shoulders in place and cause you to be unable to bend your lower back and make your arms not move away from your body much.
Meaning if your want to lift your have to move at the hips and knees.
This is the safest way as long as you can still grab the item normally a box or 24 cans.

@Liquidxlax Hell if I know, I'm BufuMAN so no boobs (giant or otherwise) to tell me how they would affect one's back.

At the very least I assume that Takizawa's would really put a lot of strain on the middle/lower back, given the sheer size and how unbalanced they'd make her, her spine is probably overworked from correcting her balance.

@Liquidxlax Mixture of all of those. Traps, rhomboids, lats etc all get affected by them. To over simplify, tig aul bitties are constantly fighting against those muscles to pull you into a hunch with rolled shoulders rather than a proper erect posture with shoulders back.

Oddly enough a lot of more well endowed women have terrible back muscles incapable of supporting the offending articles. Source: having to perform regular physio massages on women with this problem.

Also never underestimate the importance of a strong back when lifting regardless of form especially in a situation where the weight has to be help outside your centre of gravity, your back WILL be use during the lift. If your only reference for lifting is a barbell/rack squat you'll not have much fun if you try something like a keg carry.

Yeah all this lift with your legs not with your back? It's bullshit.
That's health and safety advice from the 80's and those guys all have demolished their knees.

Use your whole body to lift, make your feet into a stable base, lift the object with your arms and core muscles to bring it close to your body then stand with your legs. If you try to lift with only your legs for long periods of time (months to years) you will annihilate your knees. This is current advice from actual industry, not just dudebros on the internet.

@creamedice

That's literally what everyone means when they say "use your legs". Nobody's telling you to crouch down and go from squat to standing with no usage of upper body.

Just don't try to lift 40-50 pounds while bent in half, or you might not bend back.

No thats excatly how it used to be taught, straight back, locked arms and lift with your legs so you don't ruin your back. The only problem is that this puts huge pressure on the knees.
Source: theres this health and safety guy at work who used to be required to teach it like that, now it isn't like that anymore.

Have we established how old she is supposed to be? They make it seem like she's full ara ara in her late 30s but Japan has this fucking weird habit of treating 26 year olds like they are old hags.
