Also, I must once again ask what the fuck a serfdom is. It is logically impossible for it to be a "country of serfs" because then who is their lord? Is it just a weird term for a particularly despotic kingdom where the citizenry has no rights? If so, why would that significantly lower the standing of the kingdom? Why would anyone trading for wheat or iron care about how foreign peasantry are being treated?
