I was thinking it before but i have to say it now. This is one of the best MCs to have. I love having one that has more of an edge and has actual balls. Its annoying when we get those clique goody two shoes MCs who have no real relatable personality besides doing the most generic good guy thing. Its refreshing to have one like him who can be aggressive to enemies who deserve it and how has the balls to get with the girls throwing themselves at him. He actually does what a man should in a great situation, unlike the lame ones who act oblivious or just are ball-less. Anyway great MC here.

Also, as for the "consent" comments:

-Who knows the age of adulthood for their world or even her elf race. It could be completely different. once again a fantasy. And most Shounen manga says young ages despite how old or mature they look.

-Also, she CLEARLY wanted him to sleep with her to the point of getting naked and throwing herself at him. Her status as a slave doesn't change the fact that it was completely her choice and he doesnt even treat her like one.

-It really annoys me to even have to mention stuff like this for a FANTASY manga. So lets seriously not bring PC stuff and Real life bull into. One again Its a fantasy with a different world and shouldnt be taken that seriously.

So much potential wasted here, it would've been great to see them growing instead.
C'mon the elf girl lived a life of seeing everyone that touched her die in flames, sold to one place to another, and yet just like that she falls in love an accepts everything about her new life.

If this wasn't so rushed I would've enjoyed a harem like this, the guy is not afraid of loving another girl and the goddess is also ok with it.

You know, out of all the isekais with slavery, this is the one where keeping the girl as a slave feels unnecessary and not really understandable. There doesn't really seem to be any discrimination against elves where they are that would lead to her being recaptured and enslaved by someone else, there's none of the usual "is it really ok for me to eat with my master?" stuff, she had no trouble registering as an adventurer, she's not branded or anything, and there's no magically binding contract to be dispelled or that dispelling would mess up his party EXP buffs - she's just calling herself a slave and acting like a party member.

There's nothing stopping the MC from saying "ok, I've signed these papers, you're free now, and if you want to stay in my party, you're more than welcome to do that", except for the fact that the author likes using the word "slave", I guess.

It's kind of mind-boggling to me.

(Also, it would forestall arguments like the one that happened in this thread.)

@EaterOfBooks actually im pretty sure because shes not a summoned creature hes formed a pact with that unless she is his slave she cant benefit from the shared experience skill he has. So looking at it from that point of view keeping her as a slave to ensure her rabid growth in terms of power it makes sense.

@Coldlight I'd say that's kind of up to individual authors during their worldbuilding, and we don't know what this setting's answer is from the chapters here so far. If you want an answer based on a popular gaming rule set for fantasy settings, I think in the basic D&D handbooks it mentions a half-elf and human would have human children.

But even there, again, it's really up to whoever's running the table anyway. Between infinite alternate settings to play in and the rules really being guidelines, anything goes.
