@Mantis_shrimp I bet that any good straight manga with such a storyline would not get such a high rating. As ironic as it may sound, many yuri fans rely on homophobic stereotypes and while they judge straight titles more seriously or even biasedly, lesbian titles are complete fan service and entertainment for them. Again, we go back to the fact that modern yuri fandom is a fujoshi mirror with their "BL is a fetish".
@jellyrolljunior Don't change the subject. Talking not about yuri in general, but about yuri smut in the context of the fact that a similar straight smut or simply ecchi never gets such high marks. When I see non-yuri smut, it is guaranteed to have a low score, even if it is of good quality within the genre. If yuri smut, then even frankly grotesque lewd works will be rated at the level of hyped shonen or deep seinen / shoujo. Don't you really find this strange? Not to mention the fact that you yourself confirm my words, calling "unique" a rather generic premise about ecchi hate - love.
@Machaka22 Even if it's "officially" yuri manga, that doesn't mean that literally everything in it should revolve around it.
